Starting in January 2016 I began a year of adventure through creative trades. That means; me, my skills & time for the bare essentials (food, accommodation, travel), working with small businesses to do great things together. So far I'm on trade eight-ish from the UK, France, Australia and America and don't plan to stop any time soon. You can read more about that here.
A little bit of context: My name is Meg and if I had to I would describe myself as a jack-of-all-trades, which frustratingly for some is not a proper job description. On paper I'm a freelance creative from Cornwall where I previously worked with Sideways for two years to create The Challenger's Almanac, a book about doing business differently. I've since worked with Lily Cole in London to create The Impossible Shop, an online boutique that sells thoughtfully and ethically made products.
Before that came a year of interning in Portugal and a degree in design which opened the doors to living and working in other countries. In-between the gaps came a lot of travel, trips and experiences that have shaped what I'm doing now. More and more making and sharing food has found its way to being what memories are formed around but this is only the beginning. My Instagram log might help describe what my words cannot.
I hope you take a look around and get in touch if you'd like to know more.
